Offered is this Great Miniature Corvette Ride-On toy in the original box
. Made by the Republic Tool and Die Corporation in Los Angeles, California and item #105. It is All Original w/ original box.
Offered today is a 1966 Chevrolet Dealer Promotional Toy! This Miniature Corvette - "Kiddie Corvette", also known as the Republic Tool Car among Collectors is in very nice used condition! These Corvettes were offered to Smaller - "Future Corvette Owners" Exclusively through the Local Chevy Dealer in 1966. Measures 25" in length. The Wheels Roll and the Front Ones Steer through the Steering Wheel... it is equipped with a Horn that is working perfectly. Produced by Republic Tool & Die Co of Los Angeles, California exclusively for Select Chevrolet Dealerships as a promotional toy in very limited numbers for a short period of time.
The only flaw worth mentioning is a scratch on the driver's side door(please see photos). I would think that it could be polished or rubbed out, but I will leave that up to the new owner, as it does not bother me as it is.

This rare Promo toy is guaranteed to be completely original and not repaired, repainted or altered in any way to the best of my knowledge. It came from an individual who stated his dad brought it home and he was not allowed to play with it, but owned it since new. He stated that it was not played with a lot, and it shows. It has never been offered for sale before. The car overall is in nice condition for its age (that’s my description, not a grading term.) It shows some typical wear and marks from handling over the years... You will have a very hard time ever finding one nicer and you will never need to upgrade this one.
The box shows some wear from age, including some denting, tears and a damaged endflap. I know that it can be repaired if desired, but I will leave that up to the new owner. Just the fact that this has the box is incredible, as it is impossible to find and has done a wonderful job protecting this rare toy for many, many years!
It is in nice overall condition for being 50+ years old. Please see photos for exact condition. It still has great look for a toy of its age. It is in as found condition. I do not think that you will find many in this condition for the age. I have not attempted to clean or touch it up in any way. I will let the photos do the talking.
