1980 Sho-Bud Double 12
This E-9th/C-6th pedal steel made from hard rock maple aged 85 years has 8 floor levers, 6 knee levers, and triple raises and double lowers to each string. Looking to the right of the front apron, you will see that there is no model designation. To my knowledge this is the only one ever made in this configuration.
It is in immaculate condition outside of a few bar dings present between the necks, and has been entirely gone through and maintained for peak performance. It has the factory Sho-Bud pickups, tear-drop headstocks with Grover tuners, and Super Pro knee levers and pedals. The metal is all chromed steel (Not polished aluminum).
This beauty comes complete with Anvil flight case, guitar case, D2F guitar and case covers, leg bag, original Sho-Bud volume pedal, and an extensive inventory of rare Sho-Bud parts including 5-40 threaded stainless steel rods and factory parts catalogue with photos and parts numbers.
She looks good, plays great, and has that unbeatable “Sho-Bud sound”. This guitar is the complete package for the serious collector or player. She will not disappoint!
