    Description

Up for auction is a cream and sugar set that are blown glass with a silver overlay in a swirl pattern.  The pair are marked "Excelsior Lodge 1912".  I searched the internet and found that the Excelsior Lodge was consecrated in 1912 on Hope Street in Lancashire, UK.  I believe this pair is a souvenir of that consecration.  Please correct me if I am incorrect, but that is the conclusion I came to.  They are in good condition for the age.  The creamer measures 3 7/8" in height and the sugar bowl measures 3 1/8" in height.
