DISCUSSION:
An oversized, exuberant exhibition catalog which celebrated the 75th anniversary of The Japan Society. Horyu-ji was founded in 607 with the protection of the Imperial Prince Shotoku, and is the oldest wooden building in Japan. The main catalog is augmented by a 44-page work titled “Japanese Art Exhibitions with Catalogue in the United States of America 1893-1981.”

Softcover. 10”x14”, 122 + 44 pages, color and black & white illustrations.
CONDITION NOTES:
Minor wear, but otherwise clean and nice, with a tight binding.
