Downsizing my collection of unfinished/unstarted projects and unsued spares spares in preparation for relocation.
Here's a Heathkit TC-3 emissions tube tester in good working order.
I've tested it and it works, but several of the detent levers are loose and sloppy and it probably should be calibrated if one is going to do some serious testing.
I did run some tests on it and it returned readings that were in agreement with my Hickok TV7-D/U;
it should do a fine job of selecting good tubes from bad ones.
No operating or assembly manual is included, just the tester as pictured. One can go online for a TC-3 manual if they are unsure how to use it.
Cosmetically the faceplate is in very good shape and all the knobs and levers are present, but there are a few scratches and some damage lettering. The roll chart is nice and clean, but the plastic window has come loose due to dried up glue.The case is in OK shape with a ding/dent on the top and some glue. Please look at all the pictures as they represent it well.
This is a fine basic tube tester and should l provide the info that most of the hobbyists require out there, and even better if one wants to tune up and recalibrate it.
