Hickok 6000A Mutual Conductance Tube Tester

Exceptionally clean and Exceptional condition!
This 6000A has been modified and uses the diode jacks already on the tester to test for plate current
.
This 6000A had the Original 83 and 5y3 tubes still in place. The 5Y3 tested as good as new and put back in the tester, and replaced the 83 with a solid state 83.
The tube chart is dated 1966.
The tube sockets on the tube island tested all the tubes with no problems and the noval and 7-pin min sockets were upgraded to ceramic sockets.
The meter was cleaned and calibrated and is in spec at 100uA and 1165 ohms with a new 150uF capacitor added. The lens was also destaticized.
The shunt was also cleaned to ensure accurate mutual conductance test results.
Includes the a manual with a schematic and obsolete tube data book. I can include a DVD upon request with more tube data and manuals, or can send the files via email in PDF files.

The test adapter, multimeters, and calibration tubes that may be seen in the pictures are not included

If payment is not made in a timely manner the sale may be cancelled. If for any reason the payment is not made within 8 hours, the sale will be canceled unless you contact us in advance of the sale, and an agreement is reached. If you make an offer and it is accepted payment is expected within 4 hours unless a previous arrangement was agreed to.
Shipping
There are no hidden charges for handling or materials. You will pay the actual shipping rate per shipper. All tube testers are insured for full value at my expense and packed extremely well and pictures taken of packing procedures just in case the tester is damaged in shipping. Very low chance that will happen, but the few claims I had to file have been honered by the shipper.
If the tester is damaged in shipping do not try to use it but rather contact me and a claim will be filed with shipper and being refunded will be contingent upon whether or not the shipper honors the claim. I take pictures of packing the tester and it should not be damaged in shipping and packed extremely well with fragile labels.
You must keep the box and all packing material for the claim to be honored, and you may have to provide pictures of the box and tube tester.
All International Shipping is handled by eBay's Global Shipping if international fees or taxes are not paid by the buyer there will be no refund if the unit is returned

If you have a legitimate problem upon receiving this tester such as the 83 rectifier broke that can happen in high altitudes shipping internationally, or something got broke in shipping, please notify me immediately. Immediately means within a few hours of receiving it not 36 hours later or 2 weeks.
