Hickok TV-10A/U Vacuum Tube Tester (military)

Description

Vintage Hickok TV-10 A/U tube tester.  This is a military version.
It has been cleaned up and performed limited testing (verified input line adjustment works, verified that it provided a reasonable vaue on the meter when testing a 12AX7 and a 6L6 tube).  Due to the fact that I was not able to test all capabilities of the unit due to the many tube types and test cases, and the fact that this is an old unit in need of calibration, I have listed this as "parts only"; however I believe this unit is a good candidate for refurbishing.
The main visual issues are: (see photographs)
-  Dents and scratches on the outer metal shell
- Some fraying on the plastic coating of the power cable where it is attached to the unit
- Carrying handle on external case only attached on one side.
- Oxidation on sockets
- Some sockets do not grip the tube connectors firmly (long-term metal fatigue).
