Simulated Tube Test.
If you are unsure about how to calibrate the tube tester don't do it.

There is the possibility in a tube tester that the phase of the heater windings could be reversed. If this was the case the meter would deflect backwards,
if that happens then 2 and 7s base connections would need to be swapped.
This is built from:
A semiconductor based “ACS” – the Alternating Current Sink – 1000uMho
calibration tool.

When you calibrate after the military manual you need the
Simulated Tube Test.
It's an easy tool to use instead to use a variac isolations transformer etc, you can use this tool to
calibrate your tube tester. You messaure two values (“CalB” + CALC 9V)

It is  important that the grid signal is correct around 5v ac and the bias signal for correct calibration.
