    This is an 8” vintage mid-century ceramic pottery dimensional souvenir plate from
    WASHINGTON, D.C.
    , made in Japan. It can be displayed on a plate stand, but has a dedicated hole in the top center for hanging. This plate features the
    U.S. Capitol building
    in the center of the plate, which has been the subject of extreme violence in recent times. At the top is the
    Lincoln Memorial
    , and clockwise from there is the
    Washington Monument,
    the
    White House,
    and the
    Jefferson Memorial.
    Interspersed among the iconic architectural points of interest are cherry blossoms, which draw hundreds of thousands of visitors to Washington every spring.
